MoonBeam Farm is a small organic family farm nestled on 10 acres in the fertile valley of Northern California, just outside the town of Corning. Located right off of I-5, we are 15 miles south of Red Bluff, CA and approximately 110 miles north of Sacramento, CA.
Our 2 specialty crops are our Loofah sponge and Lavender. Our seeds and plant stock are organic and non-gmo.
Our Farm is also chemical and pesticide FREE.
For the health of the BEES, OUR PLANTS and YOU!!

Along with our Loofah, the farm also has over 1,100 Lavender plants. With more than 8 varieties, our organic plants are grown for Oil, buds and culinary use in mind. With breathtaking colors ranging from the crisp and icy white to the deep purples reminiscent of the French Countryside. 2017 was our first year to allow many of the species to come to full bud, having harvested during May to mid-June. The show of color and scent was amazing and it was wonderful to share this experience with our visitors and neighbors here at the farm. 2018 was exciting for us as well as our community as we hosted our First Annual Lavender Harvest Event, with over 35 Vendors and a 1,000+ visitors here on the farm. Looking so forward to seeing this event continue to grow. (You can find pictures of the event on the Harvest Event tab on this page.) You can purchase a variety of handmade and handcrafted items, such as soaps, bath salts and milks, bombs, lavender products and crafts, our specialty blend of Herb de Provence as well as sugars and cookie mix and of course our wonderful organic loofah here at our farm country store as well as our on-line storefront.

MoonBeam Farm is one of the few organic heirloom growers of loofah sponges in the USA. We grow our loofah from our own harvested non-gmo heirloom seed-stock, tending to our plants by hand each and every day, ensuring the sponge available to our clients is at it’s peak. Our sponges are so soft, they can be used on a daily basis. There is a significant difference between organically farm grown loofah and those you purchase in the stores. Those hard-as-a-brick store bought loofah, are required to go through a treatment process (such as bleach, lye and/or pesticides) before being imported into the country, leaving you with a product that is so rough and treated you wouldn’t dare put it to your face. You simply need to feel and experience the difference!
During the late spring and summer season (June—Sept), we are open for farm tours so you can experience first-hand how loofah is grown and harvested.
Loofah Sponge is not only for bathing, but can be used to wash windows, dishes or even the car. We have also been selling loofah to many of our equestrian friends, who use it for rub down and massage on their wonderful four legged friends. We also share our sponge with our dogs here on the farm to chew on for beautiful clean teeth. (We will be adding a pet line very soon!)
Our Organic Heirloom Loofah can be purchased here at our farm country store or through our on-line store.
